It would be helpful,and is highly recommended (especially if you plan to get much further involved in CarPCs) that youpurchase, as a minimum, a simple VOM (volt-ohm meter) or DMM (Digital Multi-Meter). Thesedevices are inexpensive (starting around $20) and will save you and me a great deal of time.
