39CONNECTING CONDENSATE DRAIN LINE (Cont.)17-3 INSTRUCTIONS OF CONNECTING CONDENSATE DRAIN LINE(1) The drain hose must begradually inclined downwardsto the outside to ensure flowof condensate water to outside.(5) Avoid forming a trap in the drain hose(2) Avoid putting the drainhose end into water.(6) Avoid forming a double trap in the drain hose(3) Avoid upwards loops inthe drain hose to avoidover-flowing of condensatewater.(4) Avoid kinks or bends in the drain hose toavoid hampering smooth drainage of waterdue to air stagnation.Avoid horizontal kinks or bendsAvoid horizontal drain line with less than 2 % slopeAvoid vertical kinks or bendsAvoid any rise in drain line(7) Avoid connecting condensate piping to sewagesystem drain without appropriate trap.
