25English4.4.2 - Booster heaterBooster heater (electric heater inside the domestic hotwater tank) is activated if domestic hot water temperatureis below the setpoint and the schedule allows electricheater activation. This function is only available if domestic hot water ismanaged by system control (code 133 = 1 or 2).It is possible to force the activation of booster heater bysetting code 1.5 = 1.The code is automatically reset when the desired setpointis reached. If domestic hot water temperature sensor is in diagnostics, booster heater is never activated.4.4.3 - Disinfection (antilegionella)This function is only available if domestic hot water ismanaged by system control. The disinfection function disinfects the domestic hot watertank by periodically heating water to a specifictemperature for a defined time period. The disinfection function settings must be configuredaccording to national and local regulations.During disinfection function, booster heater is activated ifneeded, regardless the schedule. In case of boiler backup, priority lines are adjusted tooptimise energy efficiency.Note: If domestic water sensor is in diagnostics ordisinfection function has not been completed within thedefined timeframe, domestic hot water production isstopped, unless code 1.3 is set to 1.The system will try to perform the disinfection cycle onthe next scheduled day.Code 1.3 is self reset to 0 when domestic water sensor isworking and disinfection function is completed.4.5 - Frost ProtectionThis function is active in all the operative modes, includingOFF.It prevents water freezing in the circuit and in thedomestic water tank. The activation temperature is determined by code 111.4.6 - Home Antifreeze ProtectionActivate this function through code 1.0.Once it is enabled, this function is active in OFF mode andin Domestic Hot Water mode.It prevents the zone temperature to go below a specificvalue, defined by code 2.It works only if room temperature is measured by thesystem (code 105.0=1 or 4).4.7 - Water Pump ManagementThis function works only if room temperature is measuredby the system (code 105.0 = 1 or 4).If code 1.6 = 0, water pump is always running during spaceheating/cooling operations. If code 1.6 = 1, water pump is turned OFF if roomtemperature overshoots the setpoint value by code 4 ( °C),and turned ON if room temperature is below (in heating, above in cooling) room setpoint by code 4 ( °C).4.8 - Pump Unblocking ProcedureThis function is active in all operative modes, includingOFF.If the water pump is OFF for 24 hrs, it is activated forsome time to avoid locking.4.9 - Output ConfigurationMulti-purpose output (see paragraph Terminal BlockDescription) can be configured to perform differentfunctions (code 108).4.9.1 - Fan coilThe output can be used to turn ON/OFF fan coil units. The available options are shown in the variable table.4.9.2 - DehumidifierThe output is used to turn ON/OFF a dehumidifier.Dehumidifier is turned on in Cool mode, when humidity ishigher than the value of code 110.It works only if room control is done by user interface(code 105.0 = 1 or 4).4.9.3 - Alarms/DefrostingThe output is activated to signal some specific conditions.See variable table for details.4.10 - Pump DownSetting code 147 = 10, it is possible to force the outdoorunit in Cool mode (also in case of Heating only systems)for 5 minutes, to allow the pump down of the refrigerant. After 5 minutes of operation, the code is automaticallyreset to 0.After Pump Down, the unit will remain OFF until theelectrical power is reset.4.11 - Silent ModeIt is possible to reduce the maximum compressorfrequency in defined time periods.See user interface manual.Frequency reduction is expressed as % of maximumfrequency and is set by code 3.When Silent mode is activated, the outdoor unit will beless noisy, but also less powerful, therefore backup andbooster heaters can be used more often.
