OWNER’ S GUIDE -Secure the ceiling assembly frame to the roof topair conditioner with the mounting bolts (See ,Figure 4). You must start (thread) the mountingbolts* by hand to avoid cross-threading. DO NOTSTART THE MOUNTING BOLTS WITH AN AIR GUN.The mounting bolts should be tightened evenly.Do not over-tighten each bolt. The bolt tighteningprocess is complete when the basepan gaskethas been evenly compressed to 60%.Pull the fabric duct collar through the ceilingassembly frame opening and pull the four cornersto extend below the duct opening(See , Figure 4).9Make sure that you have properly matched the roof top air conditioner and interior ceiling assembly. (The controls are factory installed in theceiling assembly.)Remove the ceiling grille from the ceiling assemblyframe.Before the ceiling assembly can be mounted tothe roof top air conditioner, the fabric duct collarmust be fastened to the basepan of the airconditioner with 4 screws (See , Figure 4 andFigure 4-1).Before lifting (mounting) the ceiling assembly, checkthe gasket on the underside of the roof top airconditioner.
