OWNER’ S GUIDE -13TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDEIf you have problems with your recreation vehicle air conditioner, check this guide before contacting your servicerepresentative.TROUBLE POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONTHE UNIT DOESNOT STARTCheck the power supply of the vehicleand make sure it is provided correctly.Make sure that there are no obstaclesrestricting or blocking the unit’s output.Mount the roof top air conditioner aslevel as possible from front to rear andside to side when the vehicle is parked.Make sure that the mounting of the airconditioner is correct and level.Reset the Air V to a lower temperaturesetting.Remove and clean the filter.Allow a sufficient amount of time for unitto cool the room.These noises are normal during theoperation of the unit.Mounting bolts should be tightenedevenly by compressing the basepangasket to the sixty percent requirement.Adjust the thermostat control knob to awarmer setting. Should frosting continue,operate on LOW or HIGH FAN setting untilthe cooling coil is free of frost.Remove and clean the filter.THE UNIT IS NOTCOOLING THEROOMTHE UNIT HASWATER DRIPPINGINSIDETHE UNIT HAS ICEOR FROST ON THECOILSThe unit may not be connected to the powersupply correctly.There could be blockage of unit’s air output.The roof top air conditioner is not level.The temperature setting is too high.The air filter is dirty.The room was already very hot before the unitwas turned on.The unit is clicking and gurgling.The basepan gasket has not been evenlycompressed to about 60%.The temperature is low inside.The filter is dirty.THE UNIT IS MAKINGNOISESSTEP 5 - COMPLETING THE INSTALLATIONCheck the thermostat probe position. Make surethe thermostat probe is routed through the holdingguide and is not touching any metal surface.Make sure the arm for the automatic air sweepfunction and the filters are properly positioned inthe ceiling grille.To complete the installation and system checkout requirements, the following steps must be performed.Secure the ceiling grille to the ceiling panel with 4screws.Turn on the power supply to the roof top airconditioner.1234
