-١٤-OPERATING UNIT THROUGH REMOTE CONTROL (Cont.)6.10 TIMER OFF (Auto-Stop) FunctionIf you want to stop automatically the air conditioner at thedesired time ( between 0 ~ 24 hrs ), use TIMER OFF functionTIMER OFF function is useful when you go to sleep.• To set TIMER OFF (Auto-Stop) time, perform thefollowing steps:1. Press the TIMER OFF button. The remote control showsTIMER OFF, the last Auto-off setting time and the signal "h"will be shown on the LCD display area. Now it is ready toreset the Auto-off time.2. Press the TIMER OFF button again to set desired Auto-offtime. Each time you press the button, the time increasesby half an hour between 0 and 10 hours and by one hourbetween 10 and 24 hours.3. After setting the TIMER OFF, there will be a one halfsecond delay before the remote control transmits thesignal to the air conditioner. Then, after approximatelyanother 4 seconds, the signal "h" will disappear andthe set temperature will re-appear on the LCD displayof the remote control.Example:To stop automatically the air conditioner in 10 hours.1. Press the TIMER OFF button, the last setting ofstopping operation time and the signal "h" will showon the display of the remote control.2. Press the TIMER OFF button to display 10h on theTIMER OFF display of the remote controller.3. After setting the TIMER there will be a one-half seconddelay before the remote control transmits the signal tothe Air Conditioner. Then, after approximately another4 seconds, the set temperature will re-appear on thedigital display of the remote control.NOTES:• When you select the timer operation, the remote control automatically transmits the TIMEROFF signal to the indoor unit for the specified time.• The effective operation time set by the remote control for the TIMER OFF function is limitedto the following settings: 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5,8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24.• To cancel the TIMER OFF setting, just press TIMER OFF button until the time setting is 0.01
