Play the phrase.• For details about how to do this, see “Starting andStopping Playback” in “Operations Common to AllModes” (page E-11).• The phrase loop setting is saved as a parameter foreach phrase.Changing the tempo settingThere are two different methods you can use to changethe tempo setting: using the TEMPO buttons ortapping a beat with a button.• You can use this procedure to adjust the tempo notonly for phrases, but also for other functions as well.■ To change the tempo using the TEMPObuttons1. Press the ct (TEMPO) button.• This displays the tempo screen shown below.2. Adjust the tempo (beats per minute) value asdesired.• For details about how to do this, see “Changing aNumber or a Value” in “Operations Common to AllModes” (page E-9).• You can also change the tempo value using the dkminus (–) and plus (+) buttons.• You can specify a tempo value in the range of 020 to255.3. Press the dr (EXIT) button.This exits the tempo screen.■ To adjust the tempo by tapping a beat1. Press the ct (TEMPO) button.This displays the tempo screen.2. Tap the ct (TAP) button four times at thespeed (tempo) you want to set.• The tempo setting will change in accordance withyour tapping speed as soon as you tap the fourthtime.3. After setting the tempo by tapping, you thencan use the procedure under “To change thetempo using the TEMPO buttons” (pageE-20) to make fine adjustments.Using the Phrase Selection Screen toSelect the Recommended Tone as theZone Part 1 Tone• For details about zone parts, see the separate“Tutorial”.1.
