Replace the batteries with newones.1. Press the bk (P) button to turn on DigitalPiano power.• Use the Digital Piano’s VOLUME controller (bl) toadjust the volume.2. To turn off the Digital Piano, hold down the bk(P) button until the Digital Piano’s displaygoes blank.NOTE• Pressing the bk (P) button to turn off poweractually puts the Digital Piano into a standby state.Minute amounts of current continue to flow withinthe Digital Piano in the standby state. If you do notplan to use the Digital Piano for a long time or ifthere is a lightning storm in your area, be sure tounplug the AC adaptor from the power outlet.Auto Power OffThe Digital Piano turns off automatically to avoidwasting power if no operation is performed for a presetamount of time. The Auto Power Off trigger time isabout six minutes under battery power and about fourhours under AC adaptor power.• You can disable Auto Power Off by turning off the“Auto Power Off” setting as described under“System Settings” (page E-27).Turning Power On or Off
