Using a Memory CardE-56■ Memory Card Data (File) Storage LocationsThe above procedure stores Digital Keyboard data in a foldernamed “MUSICDAT” on the memory card.• The “MUSICDAT” folder is created automatically when youformat the memory card on the Digital Keyboard (pageE-54).• If you store a file in any location other than inside the“MUSICDAT” folder, you will not be able to recall, delete, orplay the file on the Digital Keyboard. You also will not beable to recall, delete, or play any file you store inside of asubfolder you create inside the “MUSICDAT” folder.• The message “No File” will appear on the display if you tryto perform a recall, delete, or play operation while there isno file inside the “MUSICDAT” folder.Use the following procedure to load data from a memory cardinto Digital Keyboard memory.• Whenever you copy a file to the memory card that youplan to recall on the Digital Keyboard, be sure to storethe file in the memory card’s “MUSICDAT” folder.1. On the Digital Keyboard, select the data youwant to load as described below.2. Insert the memory card that contains the datainto the memory card slot.3. Hold down bq until the screen shown belowappears on the display.• To cancel data load, press bq again.4. Press the br (10-key) [9] (ENTER) key.• Pressing [7] (EXIT) will return to the screen that wasdisplayed before you pressed [9] (ENTER).5. Use the br (10-key) [–] and [+] keys to selectthe data (file) you want to load.6. Press the br (10-key) [9] (ENTER) key.This will load the data into Digital Keyboard memory.• If there is already data stored in the user area whereyou are trying to load data, an overwrite confirmationmessage will appear.
