OVEN SELF CLEANING MODES24OVEN DOOR LOCK DURINGSELF-CLEANWhen the clean cycle starts, the lock light turnson, and the automatic door lock cycle begins.Do Not attempt to open the door when the locklight is on. You can stop the cycle by pushingthe off button. The lock light will turn off onlyafter the oven has cooled below 550ºF, and theautomatic door lock has completed its cycle tothe open position.BEFORE SELF-CLEANING THE OVEN: Remove all utensils and racks Clean the oven front frame and outerdoor edges. Wipe up large spilloversand grease. (see fig. 11) Be sure the light bulbs and glass coversare in place. Turn on the ventilator hood above therange and leave it on until after theoven has completed the self-cleancycle. Remove Oven Racks and Rack SlideAssemblies.NOTE: An Interlock System has beendesigned so that the Self-CleanCycle will not engage until the Rack Slide Assemblies have been removed. The rollerassisted rack supports are designed to withstand the temperature range of thestandard baking thermostat. They will not withstand the extreme temperatures ofpyrolytic self cleaning. To remove the Assemblies:A) For each side, Remove the retaining screw,B) Lift up slightly and pull the entire Assembly out. Set aside.Replace the assemblies and retaining screws after the Self-Cleancycle has finished.27” OVEN RACK SLIDE ASSEMBLYWipe out puddles of grease and any loose soil that can be easily removed. Remove any soil that isoutside the door seal area. This appliance is designed to clean the oven interior and that portion of thedoor that is inside the oven.
