SiBE041029EB Main FunctionsFunction and Control 281.13 Other Functions1.13.1 Hot-Start FunctionIn order to prevent the cold air blast that normally occurs when heating operation is started, thetemperature of the indoor heat exchanger is detected, and the airflow is either stopped orsignificantly weakened resulting in comfortable heating.Note: The cold air blast is prevented using similar control when defrost control starts or when thethermostat is turned ON.1.13.2 Signal Receiving SignWhen the indoor unit receives a signal from the remote controller, the unit emits a signalreceiving sound.1.13.3 Indoor Unit ON/OFF ButtonAn ON/OFF button is provided on the display of the unit. Press the ON/OFF button once to start operation. Press once again to stop it. The ON/OFF button is useful when the remote controller is missing or the battery has runout.
