Replace the dryer if it does notabsorb moisture, is blocked, or if the system hasbeen opened to the atmosphere. When installing thenew dryer, follow the arrow and do not make anymistake about the installation direction of the dryer.(1) Replacement procedureConduct the automatic pumpdown to collectthe refrigerant in the liquid receiver.Refer to paragraph 4.2 for the automatic pumpdown. Then, quickly replace the dryer with a new oneafter loosening the flare nuts on the inlet andoutlet side of the dryer. After completing of the replacement of the dryer,be sure to conduct refrigerant leakage test toconfirm that no refrigerant leakage is occurring.Check on the green color of the sight glass aftersystem start up.Apply silicon sealant to the dryer body includingthe flare nuts on the inlet and outlet sides.OutletflarenutInletflarenutFully apply silicon sealant tothe dryer body including theflare nuts on the inlet andoutlet sides. When put under lowtemperature and pressure bysome operation conditions, and might have the threadsdamaged by frozen dewdrops.may become rusty as aresult of coating peel-off atwork using a spanner.4.8.14 Fusible PlugReceiverFusible plugCapBodyFusible plugReplacement of fusible plugRefrigerant system pressure rise abnormallyfusible plug will release pressure. If the fusible plug is activated, the fusible alloymelts and refrigerant blow out (Melting point:95 to 100 ).For replacement, - shall be replaced.https://daikin-p.ru
