Before operationThis operation manual is for systems with standard control. Beforeinitiating operation, contact your dealer for the operation thatcorresponds to your system type and mark. If your installation has acustomized control system, ask your dealer for the operation thatcorresponds to your system.Operation modes (depending on indoor unit type): Heating and cooling. Fan only operation. Automatic cooling/heating changeover (heat recovery system)Dedicated functions exist depending on the type of indoor unit, referto dedicated installation/operation manual for more information.NOTICE Never put any objects into the air inlet or outlet.Objects touching the fan at high operating speed canbe dangerous. Never press the button of the user interface with ahard, pointed object. The user interface may bedamaged. Never pull or twist the electric wire of the userinterface. It may cause the unit to malfunction. Never inspect or service the unit by yourself. Ask aqualified service person to perform this work. Do not use the air conditioner for other purposes. Inorder to avoid any quality deterioration, do not use theunit for cooling precision instruments, food, plants,animals or works of art. After a long use, check the unit stand and fitting fordamage. If damaged, the unit may fall and result ininjury. Do not place items which might be damaged bymoisture under the indoor unit. Condensation mayform if the humidity is above 80%, if the drain outlet isblocked or the filter is polluted. Arrange the drain hose to ensure smooth drainage.Incomplete drainage may cause wetting of thebuilding, furniture etc. Do not place the controller exposed to direct sunlight.The LCD display may get discoloured, failing todisplay the data. Do not wipe the controller operation panel withbenzine, thinner, chemical dust cloth, etc. The panelmay get discoloured or the coating peeled off. If it isheavily dirty, soak a cloth in water-diluted neutraldetergent, squeeze it well and wipe the panel clean.Wipe it with another dry cloth. Do not operate the air conditioner when using a roomfumigation-type insecticide. This could cause thechemicals to become deposited in the unit, whichcould endanger the health of those who arehypersensitive to chemicals. Do not place heaters directly below the unit, as heatcan cause deformation. Turn off the power supply when the unit is not to beused for a long time.
