SiENBE07-618_C Main FunctionsFunction and Control 271.10 Other Functions1.10.1 Hot-Start FunctionIn order to prevent the cold air blast that normally comes when heating operation is started, thetemperature of the indoor heat exchanger is detected, and either the airflow is stopped or ismade very weak thereby carrying out comfortable heating of the room.*The cold air blast is also prevented using a similar control when the defrosting operation isstarted or when the thermostat is turned ON.1.10.2 Signal Receiving SignWhen the indoor unit receives a signal from the remote control, the unit emits a signal receivingsound.1.10.3 Indoor Unit ON/OFF ButtonAn ON/OFF button is provided on the display of the unit. Press this button once to start operation. Press once again to stop it. This button is useful when the remote control is missing or the battery has run out.
