Protection md Protection mode is active. The unit detected acritical status (overcurrent or overvoltage).• To avoid tripping, switching frequency isreduced to 4 kHz.• If possible, protection mode ends afterapproximately 10 s.• Protection mode can be restricted inparameter 14-26 Trip Delay at Inverter Fault.Qstop The motor is decelerating usingparameter 3-81 Quick Stop Ramp Time.• [4] Quick stop inverse is selected as afunction for a digital input (parametergroup 5-1* Digital Inputs). Thecorresponding terminal is not active.• The quick stop function is activated viaserial communication.Ramping The motor is accelerating/decelerating usingthe active ramp up/down. The reference, alimit value, or a standstill is not yet reached.Ref. high The sum of all active references is above thereference limit set in parameter 4-55 WarningReference High.Ref. low The sum of all active references is below thereference limit set in parameter 4-54 WarningReference Low.Run on ref. The frequency converter is running in thereference range. The feedback value matchesthe setpoint value.Run request A start command was given, but the motorremains stopped until a run permissive signalis received via digital input.Running The frequency converter drives the motor.Sleep Mode The energy-saving function is enabled. Themotor has stopped, but restarts automaticallywhen required.Speed high Motor speed is above the value set inparameter 4-53 Warning Speed High.Speed low Motor speed is below the value set inparameter 4-52 Warning Speed Low.Standby In auto-on mode, the frequency converterstarts the motor with a start signal from adigital input or serial communication.Start delay In parameter 1-71 Start Delay, a delay startingtime was set. A start command is activated, and the motor starts after the start delay timeexpires.Start fwd/rev [12] Enable start forward and [13] Enable startreverse are selected as options for 2 differentdigital inputs (parameter group 5-1* DigitalInputs). The motor starts in forward or reversedirection depending on which terminal isactivated.Stop The frequency converter received a stopcommand from the LCP, digital input, or serialcommunication.Trip An alarm occurred and the motor is stopped.Once the cause of the alarm is cleared, thefrequency converter can be reset manually bypressing [Reset] or remotely by controlterminals or serial communication.Trip lock An alarm occurred, and the motor is stopped. When the cause of the alarm is cleared, cyclepower to the frequency converter. Thefrequency converter can then be resetmanually by pressing [Reset], or remotely bycontrol terminals or serial communication.Table 7.3 Operation StatusNOTICEIn auto/remote mode, the frequency converter requiresexternal commands to execute functions.7.3 Warning and Alarm TypesWarningsA warning is issued when an alarm condition is impending,or when an abnormal operating condition is present andmay result in the frequency converter issuing an alarm. Awarning clears by itself when the abnormal conditionceases.AlarmsAn alarm indicates a fault that requires immediateattention. The fault always triggers a trip or a trip lock.Reset the system after an alarm.TripAn alarm is issued when the frequency converter istripped, meaning that the frequency converter suspendsoperation to prevent frequency converter or systemdamage. The motor coasts to a stop. The frequencyconverter logic continues to operate and monitor thefrequency converter status. After the fault condition isremedied, the frequency converter can be reset. It is thenready to start operation again.Resetting the frequency converter after trip/trip lockA trip can be reset in any of 4 ways:• Press [Reset] on the LCP.• Digital reset input command.• Serial communication reset input command.• Auto reset.Trip lockInput power is cycled. The motor coasts to a stop. Thefrequency converter continues to monitor the frequencyconverter status. Remove input power to the frequencyconverter, correct the cause of the fault, and reset thefrequency converter.Maintenance, Diagnostics, a...
