3.20 Parameters: 19-** ApplicationParametersParameters in this group are available when VLT® MotionControl Option MCO 305 is installed in the frequencyconverter. For information about the option, see the VLT®Motion Control Option MCO 305 Operating Instructions.3.21 Parameters: 30-** Special Features3.21.1 30-0* Wobble FunctionThe wobble function is primarily used for synthetic yarnwinding applications. The wobble option is installed in thefrequency converter controlling the traverse frequencyconverter. The yarn moves back and forth in a diamondpattern across the surface of the yarn package. To preventa build-up of yarn at the same points at the surface, thispattern must be altered. The wobble option canaccomplish this by continuously varying the traversevelocity in a programmable cycle. The wobble function iscreated by superimposing a delta frequency around acenter frequency. To compensate for the inertia in thesystem, a quick frequency jump can be included. Suitablefor elastic yarn applications, the option features arandomized wobble ratio.175ZB001.10Par. 30-09: RANDOM FUNCPar 30-11: RANDOM MAXPar 30-12: RANDOM MINTDOWN T UPPar. 30-06: JUMP TIMEPar. 30-04 [Hz]: JUMP FREQPar. 30-09 [%] : JUMP FREQCENTER FREQPar. 30-07: WOBB TIMEFrequency[Hz]Time [s]Par. 30-01 [Hz]: DELTA FREQ.Par. 30-02 [%]: DELTA FREQ.(Par. 30-03)Par. 30-01 [Hz]Par. 30-02 [%](Par. 30-03:)Par. 30-*1: RAMP UPPar. 30-10: [RATIO TUP / TDOWN ]Par. 30-08: [INDEPENDENT UP and DOWN]Illustration 3.65 Wobble Function30-00 Wobble ModeOption: Function:NOTICEThis parameter cannot be adjusted whilethe motor runs. The standard speed open-loop mode inparameter 1-00 Configuration Mode is extendedwith a wobble function. In this parameter, it ispossible to select which method to be used forthe wobbler. Set the parameters as absolutevalues (direct frequencies) or as relative values(percentage of other parameter). Set thewobble cycle time as an absolute value or asindependent up and down times. When usingan absolute cycle time, the up and down timesare configured through the wobble ratio.30-00 Wobble ModeOption: Function:[0]*Abs. Freq.,Abs. Time[1] Abs. Freq.,Up/ DownTime[2] Rel. Freq.,Abs. The delta frequency issuperimposed on the center frequency.Parameter 30-01 Wobble Delta Frequency [Hz]contains both the positive and negative deltafrequency. The setting of parameter 30-01 WobbleDelta Frequency [Hz] must thus not exceed thesetting of the center frequency. The initial ramp-up time from standstill until the wobble sequenceruns is determined in chapter 3.5.2 3-1* References.30-02 Wobble Delta Frequency [%]Range: Function:25 %* [0 -100 %]The delta frequency can also be expressed aspercentage of the center frequency and canthus be maximum 100%. The function is thesame as for parameter 30-01 Wobble DeltaFrequency [Hz].30-03 Wobble Delta Freq.
