3.14 Parameters: 13-** Smart Logic ControlSmart Logic Control (SLC) is essentially a sequence of user-defined actions (see parameter 13-52 SL Controller Action[x]) executed by the SLC when the associated user-definedevent (see parameter 13-51 SL Controller Event [x]) isevaluated as TRUE by the SLC.The condition for an event can be a particular status orthat the output from a Logic Rule or a ComparatorOperand becomes TRUE. That leads to an associated actionas illustrated:. . .. . .Par. 13-11Comparator OperatorPar. 13-43Logic Rule Operator 2Par. 13-51SL Controller EventPar. 13-52SL Controller Action130BB671.13CoastStart timerSet Do X lowSelect set-up 2. . .RunningWarningTorque limitDigital input X 30/2. . .=TRUE longer than... . .. . .Illustration 3.48 Smart Logic Control (SLC)Events and actions are each numbered and linked in pairs(states). This means that when event [0] is fulfilled (attainsthe value TRUE), action [0] is executed. After this, theconditions of event [1] are evaluated and if evaluatedTRUE, action [1] is executed and so on. Only 1 event isevaluated at any time. If an event is evaluated as FALSE,nothing happens (in the SLC) during the current scaninterval and no other events are evaluated. This means thatwhen the SLC starts, it evaluates event [0] (and only event[0]) each scan interval. Only when event [0] is evaluatedTRUE, the SLC executes action [0] and starts evaluatingevent [1]. It is possible to program from 1 to 20 events andactions. When the last event/action has been executed, thesequence starts over again from event [0]/action [0].Illustration 3.49 shows an example with 3 events/actions:130BA062.14State 113-51.013-52.0 State 213-51.113-52.1Startevent P13-01State 313-51.213-52.2State 413-51.313-52.3Stopevent P13-02Stopevent P13-02Stopevent P13-02Illustration 3.49 Events and ActionsStarting and stopping the SLCStart and stop the SLC by selecting [1] On or [0] Off inparameter 13-00 SL Controller Mode. The SLC always startsin state 0 (where it evaluates event [0]). The SLC startswhen the Start Event (defined in parameter 13-01 StartEvent) is evaluated as TRUE (provided that [1] On isselected in parameter 13-00 SL Controller Mode). The SLCstops when the stop event (parameter 13-02 Stop Event) isTRUE. Parameter 13-03 Reset SLC resets all SLC parametersand starts programming from scratch.NOTICESLC is only active in Auto mode, not Hand On mode.3.14.1 13-0* SLC SettingsUse the SLC settings to activate, deactivate and reset thesmart logic control sequence.
