Failure to follow theinstructions in this warning may result in death or serious injury.- Before installation, disconnect the power supply voltage to the drive.- Switch off all dangerous voltages connected from external control circuits to the inputs and outputs of the drive.- Never install an option card into the drive during operation.- In addition to conventional installation tools, have the VLT AutomationDrive FC 302 Operating Guide and the VLT® MotionControl Tools MCT 10 Operating Guide available as they contain important information that is not included in this manual.W A R N I N GELECTRICAL HAZARDActivation of STO does not provide electrical safety. The safety device connected to the dual-pole input of the safety optionmust fulfill the required safety level for the application for interrupting the voltage/current to the safety option.
