MAKING COFFEESelecting the coffee tasteThe appliance is preset to make coffee with astandard taste.You an also choose one of these tastes:Extra-mild tasteMild tasteStandard tasteStrong tasteExtra-strong tasteTo change the flavour, press the button (fig.5) repeatedly until the required taste is displayed.Selecting the quantity of coffee inthe cupTo select the quantity of coffee, turn the selectionknob until the light corresponding to the requiredquantity of coffee comes on:Customising the "MY COFFEE"quantityThe appliance is factory preset to automaticallydeliver 30 ml.1. Place a cup under the coffee spouts (fig. 9).2. Turn the selection knob (C7) until thelight comes on.3. Press the 1 cup button for at least eightseconds (fig. 6). The message "1 MY COFFEEProgramme Quantity" is displayed and coffeerun-off begins;4. As soon as the coffee in the cup reaches therequired level, press the 1 cup button again.The quantity set has now been programmed.Regulating the coffee millThe coffee mill is preset in the factory to preparecoffee correctly and should not require regulatinginitially.However, if after making the first few coffees youfind that run-off is either too fast or too slow(drips), this can be corrected by adjusting thegrinding coarseness regulator knob (fig. 7).For slower run-off andcreamier coffee, turnone click towards the "1"(finer ground coffee).For faster run-off (not indrips, turn one clicktowards the "7" (coarserground coffee).These adjustments will only be evident after atleast 2 cups of coffee have been run off.NB!
