A message confirming the language installed is displayed;7. Press the icon to exit the menu.BeepThis enables or disables the beep emitted by the machine eachtime an icon/button is pressed, the drip tray is inserted/removedor the door is opened/closed. To disable or re-enable the beep,proceed as follows:1. Press the icon (B2) to enter the menu;2. Press or (fig. 7) until “Beep” is displayed;3. Press the OK icon (fig. 4). The message “Disable?” is dis-played; (or “Enable?”, if disabled);4. Press the OK icon to enable or disable the beep;5. Press the icon to exit the menu.Default values (reset)This resets all menu settings and programmed quantities backto the default values (with the exception of the language whichremains as set).To reset the default values, proceed as follows:1. Press the icon (B2) to enter the menu;2. Press or (fig. 7) until “Default values” isdisplayed;3. Press the OK icon (fig. 4).4. The message “Confirm?” is now displayed.5. Press the OK icon to confirm and exit.Statistics functionThis displays statistics relating to the machine. To display, pro-ceed as follows:1. Press the icon (B2) to enter the menu;2. Press or (fig. 7) until “Statistics” is displayed;3. Press the OK icon (fig. 4).4. By pressing or you can check:- how many coffees have been made;- the total number of cappuccinos and milk based coffeesmade;- the total number of litres of water delivered;- how many times the machine has been descaled;- how many times the water softener filter has beenreplaced.5. Press the icon twice to exit the menu.MAKING COFFEESelecting the coffee tasteThe appliance is set by default to make coffee with a standardtaste.You can also choose one of these tastes:Extra-mild tasteMild tasteStandard tasteStrong tasteExtra-strong tasteTo change the taste, press the icon (fig. 8) repeatedly untilthe required taste is displayed.Selecting the quantity of coffee in the cupThe appliance is set by default to make a standard quantity ofcoffee. To select the quantity of coffee, press the icon(fig. 9) until the message corresponding to the required quanti-ty of coffee is displayed:Coffee selected Quantity in cup (ml)MY COFFEE Programmable:from ≃20 to ≃180SHORT ≃40STANDARD ≃60LONG ≃90EXTRA LONG COFFEE ≃120Customising the “my coffee” quantityThe appliance is set by default to automatically deliver 30 ml of“MY COFFEE”. To modify this quantity, proceed as follows:1. Place a cup under the coffee spouts ( fig. 10).2. Press the icon (fig. 9) until “MY COFFEE” isdisplayed.3. Keep the icon (B7) pressed until the message “1 MYCOFFEE Program quantity” is displayed and coffee deliverybegins. Release the icon.
