19Replacing the filterWhen “REPLACE FILTER” is displayed, after two months (see dateindicator) or when the appliance has not been used for 3 weeks,you should replace the filter:1. Extract the tank (A20) and exhausted filter (C4);2. Take the new filter out of its packet and proceed as illus-trated in points 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in the previous section.3. Position a container with a minimum capacity of 500mlunder the hot water spout.4. Press the icon (B2) to enter the menu.5. Press or (fig. 7) until “Replace filter” isdisplayed.6. Press the OK icon (fig. 4).7. The message “Confirm?” is now displayed.8. Press the OK icon to confirm the selection.9. “HOT WATER Press OK” is displayed;10. Press the OK icon to confirm the selection. The appliancebegins hot water delivery and the message “Please wait” isdisplayed.11. After the flow of hot water stops, the appliance automati-cally resets to “Ready for coffee” status.The new filter is now active and you can use the coffee machine.Removing the filterIf you want to use the appliance without the filter, you mustremove it and notify the appliance of its removal. Proceed asfollows:1. Remove the tank, remove the filter and put the tank backin the appliance;2. Press the icon (B2) to enter the menu;3. Press or (fig. 7) until “Install filter Enable” isdisplayed.4. Press the OK icon (fig. 4).5. “Disable?” is displayed;6.
