Page 8Child lock• To prevent accidental operation of thedryer, the controls may be locked duringoperation or in standby mode.• Press the Buzzer Cancel and the Start/Pause/Cancel buttons simultaneously andhold down for 3 seconds.• One of the progress indicators will flash.• When the dryer is in locked mode, onlythe ON/OFF button will function.• To unlock, repeat the above procedure.• The lock is also deactivated when themachine is restarted by pressing the on/off button.Changing a programme during a dryingcycleUse this feature to dry laundry at higher orlower temperature after the dryer hasstarted.• Press and hold the Start/Pause/Cancelbutton for about 3 seconds to cancel theprogramme.• Select ‘Iron Dry or Extra dry’ using theprogramme selector knob.• Press and hold the Start/Pause/Cancelbutton to start the programme.Note• Deactivate the Child lock beforecancelling or ending a programme while itis running• Press the Start/Pause/Cancel button for 3seconds to cancel a programme. The filtercleaning warning light glows, advising thatthe programme was cancelled.• Turning the programme selector knob ineither direction will end a programmewhile the machine is running. However thewarning light in this instance, will not glow.Only the drying light glows and themachine remains on standby until a newprogramme is selected and the Start/Pause/Cancel button is pressed.Programme end• The drying cycle is completed when theprogramme progress indicators show End-Anti creasing and Clean filter.• Throughout the anti creasing stage theEnd-anti ceasing indicator will flash. Theprogramme may then be ended at anytime although if left alone it will endautomatically.• Press the On / Off button• Open the door and remove the laundry.NOTE• Whenever the door is opened during aprogramme, the programme will bepaused automatically and the Start /Pause / Cancel indictor will flash. Closethe door and press the Start / Pause /Cancel button for the programme tocontinue.Programmes. There are:• Timed programmes of 60, 40. 20 and 10minutes)• Two synthetic programmes (Ready to ironand Ready to wear)• Three cotton programmes (Extra dry,Ready to wear and Ready to iron)• A Delicates programme• A Freshen up programme.• The programme selector knob may beturned in either direction to select therequired programme.• Always choose a programme which issuitable for the fabric type and observethe symbols on garment care labels.• With a little practice you will soondetermine which programme suits yourrequirements.Anti -Creasing• The laundry may be removed after adrying cycle has been completed.• Alternatively, the laundry may be left inthe drum, in which case the machine willautomatically perform an Anti Creasingphase.• Throughout this phase the laundry isseparated , smoothed and cooled. TheAnti creasing indicator will flash and thedrum will rotate briefly every 60 secondsfor about 2 hours.Buzzer cancel• At the end of a drying programme andthroughout the Anti creasing phase, abuzzer will sound.• If this is annoying, the chime/buzzer maybe muted by pressing the Chime Cancelbutton.
