Safety Shield Bracket Installation1. Safety Shield Brackets are to be installed at the outsidecorners of each module (4 per module). Consult belowdetail for locations. Use 3/8-16 x 1.25" hardware to installbrackets. Consult “Hardware Torque Requirements”(pg 5) for proper torque values.2. Module layout should be compared to system layoutdiagram and all hardware should be checked for propertorque before proceeding. Consult “Hardware TorqueRequirements” (pg 5) for proper torque values.ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONFollow all safety requirements as detailed in “SafetyPrecautions” section prior to working on any electricalconnections.Some installations may require the terminal plates to be inclose proximity of each other. It is recommended that theterminal plate assembly installations be completed priorto installing the inter-cell connections. This practice willreduce the risk of a possible electrical short from damag-ing the entire battery system.TERMINAL ASSEMBLYTop TerminationConsult system layout diagram for termination locations.1. Install terminal plate bracket to the top of the module.Slide clip onto back of channel at hole locations.Use 3/8-16 x 1.25" hardware.
