The ring count that needs to go into receiving is set inthe System Data. If the user memory is full, the machine is changed to Telmode.•Telmode: Automatic fax reception is turned off. You can receive a fax bypicking up the handset of the extension phone and then pressing theremote receive code (refer to theUser’s Guide), or press (you can hear voice or fax tone from the remote machine) and thenpressing on the operator panel of your machine.•Ans/Faxmode: The machine can share one phone line with TAD(Telephone Answering machine). In this mode, TAD will pick up thephone and machine will monitor the FAX signal (CNG), and it catch lineif there is FAX Tone.•DRPDmode:One of service of Exchanger is Distinctive Ring PatternDetection. Before service, User should program machine to distinguishFax No. Machine will go to reception if it detect Fax Ring Pattern. In somecountry, machine does not support it. This option is available only whenyou set up theDRPD Mode. For details, see page 125.
