Disconnect the AC power cable from the AC power connector on theback of the power supply.2. Disconnect the DC power cables from the system board (seeFigure 4-12), the externally accessible drives, and the hard-disk drives(see Figure 4-5).Be sure to record the connector number and plug location for each powercable.3. Remove the four power-supply mounting screws.4. Slide the power supply forward about an inch to clear the retainingtabs, then lift it out of the computer.When you reinstall the power supply, be sure the slots on the bottom of thepower supply engage the retaining tabs on the computer chassis.AC power connectorpower supplypower-supplymounting screws (4) PreviousNext |
