14 About Your SystemLCD Panel FeaturesThe system's LCD panel provides system information and status and errormessages to signify when the system is operating correctly or when the systemneeds attention. See "LCD Status Messages" on page 22 for informationabout specific status codes.The LCD backlight lights blue during normal operating conditions and lightsamber to indicate an error condition. When the system is in standby mode,the LCD backlight is off and can be turned on by pressing the Select buttonon the LCD panel. The LCD backlight will remain off if LCD messaging isturned off through the iDRAC6 utility, the LCD panel, or other tools.8 System identificationbuttonThe identification buttons on the frontand back panels can be used to locate aparticular system within a rack.
