For more information on the password jumper settings,see System Board Jumper Settings.System password This is the password that you must enter to log on to your system.Setup password This is the password that you must enter to access and make changes to the BIOS or UEFI settingsof your system.CAUTION: The password features provide a basic level of security for the data on your system.CAUTION: Anyone can access the data stored on your system if the system is running and unattended.NOTE: Your system is shipped with the system and setup password feature disabled.Assigning A System And/Or Setup PasswordNOTE: The password jumper enables or disables the System Password and Setup Password features. For moreinformation on the password jumper settings, see System Board Jumper Settings.You can assign a new System Password and/or Setup Password or change an existing System Password and/or SetupPassword only when the password jumper setting is enabled and Password Status is Unlocked.
