3. Open the system.4. Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.NOTE: If you have installed a PERC card, the power and data cables are connected to the PERCcard cable adapter. Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outletand from the peripherals.3. Open the system.4. Align the slots under the hard-drive cage with the standoffs on the chassis. Slide the hard-drive cageuntil it snaps into place.5. Connect the power and data cables to the hard drive.• If you are connecting to the integrated SATA controller (SATA hard drives only), connect the SATAdata cable to the SATA connector on the system board.36
