Item Indicator, Button, orConnector Icon Description9 Power supply (PSU3) 1100 W AC10 Power supply (PSU1) 1100 W AC11 Power supply (PSU2) 1100 W ACPower Supply IndicatorsEach AC power supply has an illuminated translucent handle that serves as an indicator to show whether power ispresent or whether a power fault has occurred. The AC power supplies must be connected to a Power Distribution Unit(PDU) or to an electrical outlet.Figure 9. Power Supply Indicators1. AC power supply status indicator/handleThe power supply indicators provide the following information:Power IndicatorPatternConditionNot lit Power is not connected.Green In standby mode, the handle lights green indicating that a valid power source is connected tothe power supply and that the power supply is operational.Flashing amber Indicates a problem with the power supply.CAUTION: When correcting a power supply mismatch, replace only the power supply withthe flashing indicator. Swapping the opposite power supply to make a matched pair canresult in an error condition and unexpected system shutdown. To change from a HighOutput configuration to a Low Output configuration or vice versa, you must power downthe system.CAUTION: AC Power supplies support both 220 V and 110 V input voltages. When twoidentical power supplies receive different input voltages, they can output differentwattages, and trigger a mismatch.CAUTION: All power supplies used must be of the same type and have the same maximumoutput power.19
