72 Troubleshooting Your EnclosureTroubleshooting External ConnectionsLoose or improperly connected cables and bent pins are the most likely sourceof problems. Ensure that all external cables are securely attached to the externalconnectors on your system and that none of the connectors are damaged. See"Back-Panel Indicators and Features" on page 18 for the back-panel connectorson your enclosure.Troubleshooting a Wet EnclosureProblem• Liquid spilled on the enclosure.• Excessive humidity.ActionCAUTION: Only trained service technicians are authorized to remove theenclosure cover and access any of the components inside the enclosure. Beforeperforming any procedure, see your Product Information Guide for completeinformation about safety precautions, working inside the enclosure and protectingagainst electrostatic discharge.1 Turn off the enclosure and disconnect all power.2 Remove all the physical disks from the enclosure. See "Removing andInstalling Physical Disks" on page 56.3 Remove the RAID controller modules from the enclosure. See"Removing and Installing a RAID Controller Module" on page 60.4 Remove the power supply/cooling fan modules from the enclosure.
