Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.2. Remove the battery (see Removing the Battery).3. Remove the base cover (see Removing the Base Cover).4. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the coin-cell battery cable connector on the system board.5. Using a plastic scribe, pry the coin-cell battery off the computer base.Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.2. Place the coin-cell battery on the computer base.3. Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the coin-cell battery cable connector on the system board.4. Replace the base cover (see Replacing the Base Cover).5.
