For additional safety best practicesinformation, see the Regulatory Compliance Homepage atdell.com/regulatory_compliance.Procedure1 Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on thememory-module connector.2 Slide the memory module firmly into the connector at a 45-degree angleand press the memory module down until it clicks into place.NOTE: If you do not hear the click, remove the memory module and reinstall it.3 Slide the tabs on the memory-module shield into the slots on thesystem-board shield and slide the memory-module toward the top of thecomputer.4 Replace the screw that secures the memory-module shield to thesystem-board shield.Postrequisites1 Replace the back cover.
