ENGLISH275 • DEFAULT settingDEFAULT Y/NYESNO, /When “YES” is selected, the settings are reset totheir factory default values.NOTE:• When playing PCM digital signals or analog signals in the5CH STEREO, ROCK ARENA, JAZZ CLUB, VIDEOGAME, MONO MOVIE or MATRIX surround modes andthe input signal switches to a digital signal encoded inDolby Digital, the Dolby surround mode switchesautomatically. When the input signal switches to a DTSsignal, the mode automatically switches to DTSsurround.Surround parameters (3)ROOM SIZE:• This sets the size of the sound field.There are five settings: “small”, “med.s” (medium-small), “medium”, “med.l” (medium-large) and“large”. “small” recreates a small sound field, “large”a large sound field.EFFECT LEVEL:• This sets the strength of the surround effect.The level can be set in 15 steps from 1 to 15. Whenthe surround mode is set to “VIRTUAL”, the effectlevel can be set in steps from 1 to 10. Lower the levelif the sound seems distorted.DELAY TIME:• In the matrix mode only, the delay time can be setwithin the range of 0 to 110 ms.Y/NStop operating buttons once the surround parametersettings have been completed.
