Preset modeq The preset mode is available when !7 PRESET button is pushed for more than 1 sec while DN-S1000 isin Cue, pause or no disc mode.w Turn the @3 PARAMETERS knob to select the preset item.e After selecting an item, push the @3 PARAMETERS knob to select the preset data.r To change other Preset items, repeat these steps.t Push the !7 PRESET, i CUE or y PLAY / PAUSE (13) button to exit from the Preset mode.2. Preset items and dataThe “*” mark next to the data indicates the default value.(1) Auto Cue : Auto Cue level search on/off. (A Cue ON* / A Cue OFF)(2) Next Track : Cross_OFF / Cross1sec / Cross2sec* / Cross3secSelect the time for fading out the currently playing track when playback of a new track is started withthe next track function.(3) S-Stroke (SCRATCH STROKE) : Short*/LongAllows you to select a comfortable stroke distance for scratching “Long” is set for wide pattern strokesand “Short” is set for small pattern strokes.(4) Scratch : Delay_OFF* / Delay -1- / Delay -2- / Delay -3-Select the time after which the normal play or pause mode is set after scratch play stops.(5) Jump Time : Jump10sec* / Jump20sec / Jump30sec / Jump1minSelect the skip time of Quick Jump.(6) P. Range (PITCH RANGE) : 4% Range / 10% Range* / 16% Range / 24% RangeSelect the playing pitch range when the power is turned on.(7) EOM Time : Track end message start time.(EOM OFF / EOM 10 sec* / EOM 15 sec / EOM 20 sec / EOM 30sec / EOM 60 sec / EOM 90 sec)(8) Total Time : Total ON / Total OFF*Total time display on / off.(9) Fader Mode (FADER START MODE) : Play / Cue* / Play / PauseSelect 2-line type (Cue and Play) or 1 line type (Play and Pause).(10) Power Play (POWER ON PLAY) : P. Play OFF*Playback starts when the power is turned on if a disc is loaded.(11) Pitch : Pitch ON* / Key AdjON (KEY ADJUST ON) / Pitch OFFSelect the pitch mode when the power is turned on.(12) Play Mode (SINGLE / CONTINUOUS / SINGLE PLAY LOCK) : Single / Cont. / Play Lock*Select the play mode when the power is turned on.(13) Time Mode (ELAPSED / REMAIN) : Elapsed* / RemainSelect the time mode when the power is turned on.(14) Memo Clear (MEMO ALL CLEAR) :Clear all MEMO data in the non-volatile memory.q To clear all MEMO data, push the PARAMETERS knob.• “Clear OK?” flashes on the character display.w Push the PARAMETERS knob again and select “OK” to execute clearing all MEMO data.• “Memo Clear” is displayed on the character display while clearing.e Once clearing is completed, “Complete!” is displayed.(15) Version No. : The DN-S1000’s software version is displayed. (SYSTEM / DSP)(16) Preset Int.(PRESET INITIALIZE) : Set all the preset data back to the factory defaults.q To clear the PRESET data, push the PARAMETERS knob.“Initial OK?” flashes on the character display.w Push the PARAMETERS knob again and select “OK” to start clear the preset data.“Preset Int” is displayed on the character display while data clearing.e Once clearing is completed, “Complete!” is displayed.
