A licensed electrician shouldalways complete the electrical portion of theinstallation process.Electrical• Follow NEC, NFPA 99C, and all local codes.• Compressors are shipped with a 6-footelectrical whip of the appropriate size for thecompressor.• Qualified personnel must install a dedicatedelectrical circuit of sufficient capacity. SeeSection I Introduction, Specifications in thismanual for additional electrical information.• Any means provided to isolate this devicefrom the supply mains shall isolate all polessimultaneously.• The disconnection means and overcurrentprotection are to be provided by the installer(qualified electrician) in accordance withapplicable local and national electric codes.This device should always be attached toa dedicated circuit with appropriate wiringand circuit protection. If this device is beinginstalled as a replacement, always have alicensed electrician inspect the existing facilityelectrical and complete the electrical portion ofthe device installation.Plumbing• Attach drain tubing to fitting on bottom ofcoalescing filter and direct it into floor drain forproper disposal of water.• Connect compressor air outlet to facilityplumbing with provided supply hose (3/8" ×3/8" MPT, 6 feet in length).• Install particulate filter to the facility shut-offvalve using plumbing kit connectors provided.• Install fresh air manifold and connect fresh airintake kit supplied to external air source perNFPA 99C recommendations.• This device should always be installed withthe appropriate plumbing and fresh air intakesystems. If this device is being installed as areplacement, always have a licensed plumberinspect the existing facility plumbing andcomplete the plumbing portion of the deviceinstallation.Section II Preinstallation• To avoid risk of electric shock, thisequipment must only be connected to asupply mains with protective earth.WARNING• This air compressor has been designed tooperate within the following voltage ranges;115V systems, 103 to 126V AC; 230V systems,208 to 253V AC. Failure to provide sufficientvoltage to this device could result in damageto electrical components and reducedservice life.NOTICE• During the performance of any serviceprocedures that may involve thedisconnection of a ground wire, take extraprecautions to verify the ground wire hasbeen properly re-connected. Never leave aground wire disconnected, since this cancreate a significant safety issue.CAUTION
