Anyparts removed for servicing must be replaced prior to operat-ing fireplace.8. Turn fireplace off and let cool before servicing, installing, orrepairing. You must keep control compartments, burners, and circulat-ing air passages clean. Do not use any solid fuels (wood, coal, paper, cardboard, etc.)in this fireplace. Use only the gas type indicated on thenameplate.14. This appliance, when installed, must be electrically groundedin accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes,with the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, or the Ca-nadian Electric Code, CSA C22.1.15. Do not use fireplace if any part has been exposed to or underwater. Immediately call a qualified service person to arrangefor replacement of the unit.16.
