If pilot lights, animproper gas/air mixture causeimproper lighting and a longerpurge period is recommended. Ifpilot will not light, check gap atelectrode and pilot. Gap shouldbe 1/8" for strong spark. If elec-trode is okay, replace pilot3. LP only: Check fuel supplyand contact local propane/LPsupplier if low.LP and Natural: Check forkinked or bent hoses. Consultpipe fitter or plumber.POSSIBLE CAUSE1. Defective ignitor2. Defective pilot or misalignedelectrode at pilot3.
