The Setup Wizard guides you through setting upbasic settings including the menu language, timesetting, picture mode, and the TV signal source.1 Make sure that you have:• Installed the remote control batteries. (Seepage 33.)• Connected an antenna, cable TV, or satellite TV.(See page 15 through 19.)• Connected the AC power adapter. (See page 32.)2 Press (power) to turn on your TV. The Setup Wizardopens.3 Press S or T to highlight the language you want,then press ENTER.4 Press S or T to highlight Style, then press W or X toselect Manual (to set the date and time manually) orAuto (to set the date and time automatically from aTV signal source based on the time zone you select).5 Press S or T to highlight Time Zone, then press W orX to select your time zone. You can select Eastern,Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii,Newfoundland, or Atlantic.6 Press S or T to highlight Daylight Savings, thenpress W or X to select On (if your viewing areaobserves Daylight Savings Time) or Off (if yourviewing area does not observe Daylight SavingsTime).7 If you selected Manual for Mode, set the date bypressing S or T to highlight Year, Month, or Day,then pressing W or X to adjust the setting.8 If you selected Manual for Mode, set the time bypressing S or T to highlight Time, then pressing Wor X to select the hour, minute, or AM/PM field. PressS or T to adjust the setting.9 Press ENTER.10 Press S or T to highlight Home Mode or RetailMode, then press ENTER.If you selected Retail Mode, a message asks you toconfirm your selection. Retail Mode is not an energysavings mode. Select Yes to continue using RetailMode, or select No to change your selection, thenpress ENTER.11 Press S or T to highlight Antenna, Cable, orCable/Satellite Box, then press ENTER.NoteIf you select Auto, the displayed time willbe incorrect until your TV gets the correcttime from a TV signal source.
