CAUTIONDo not attempt to restart the system after Load Off until you have identifiedand cleared the cause of the shutdown.7.4 Starting a single UPSMake sure that the load level does not exceed the single UPS capacity.To start the UPS:1. Close the UPS input feeder circuit breaker.2. Close the UPS bypass input feeder circuit breaker.3. Turn the mains switch RIS and the bypass switch BIS (if installed) in theON position.4. Open the UPS front door.5. Turn the battery breaker CB1 in the ON position. Make sure that thebreakers in the external battery cabinets are ON.6. Make sure that there are no active alarms on display.7. Close the UPS front door.8. In the home screen, press Controls.The System controls screen appears.9. Press the UPS controls button.In the UPS controls screen, the system status is shown as SHUTDOWN.10. In the UPS controls screen, press the GO online button. Confirm GOonline.If Auto Bypass is enabled (factory default), the critical load is immediatelysupplied by the bypass source in the bypass mode, until the inverter turnson and the UPS transfers to the double conversion mode. The yellowstatus indicator on the UPS control panel indicates that the UPS is in thebypass mode. If auto bypass is not enabled, the UPS output remains offuntil the UPS system transfers to the double conversion mode.11. Wait for the following messages to appear sequentially on the UPS statusline:STARTINGONLINEThe UPS system is now operating in the double conversion mode and the greenstatus indicator for normal operation is illuminated.7.5 Shutting down a single UPSA single UPS in the system can be shut down only if it is redundant.
