To begininstalling, see the instructions accompanying the Software suite CD.Eaton Software suite provides up-to-date graphics of UPS power andsystem data and power flow.It also gives you a complete record of critical power events, and it notifiesyou of important UPS or powerinformation.If there is a power outage and the 9E UPS battery power becomes low,Eaton Software suite can automatically shut down your computer system toprotect your data before the UPS shutdown occurs.4.4 Trouble shootingPROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTIONTHE DISPLAY DOESNOT LIGHT UPINPUT SWITCHOPENClose the input switch located onthe back of the UPS.MAINCONNECTIONCABLE MISSINGCheck that the power cable isconnected correctly.NO MAINSVOLTAGE(BLACKOUT)Check that the power reaches theUPSUPSTREAMTHERMALPROTECTION TRIPReset the thermal protection.CAUTION: Check that there is nooutput overload to the UPS.THE DISPLAY IS ONBUT THE LOAD ISNOT POWEREDTHE UPS IS INStandby modePress the “ON” button on the frontpanel to power the loads.THE UPS ISOPERATING FROMTHE BATTERYDESPITE THEPRESENCE OFMAINS VOLTAGETHE INPUTVOLTAGE ISOUTSIDE THEPERMITTEDTOLERANCERANGE FOR MAINSOPERATIONProblem with the mains.
