These coloredlight emitting diode (LED) lamps work with the alarm horn to let you know theoperating status of the UPS. See Table 7‐1.Table 7‐1. Status IndicatorsIndicator Status DescriptionGreenLit Steady The UPS is in Online mode, operating normally. The power module is supplying powerto the critical load.YellowLit Steady The UPS is in Battery mode. Because Battery mode is a normal condition of the UPS,the Online indicator also remains illuminated.YellowLit Steady The UPS is in Bypass mode. The critical load is supported by the bypass source. TheOnline indicator is not illuminated when the system is in Bypass mode.RedLit Steady The UPS has an active alarm and requires immediate attention. The screen shows thehighest priority active alarms. All alarms are accompanied by an audible horn. Tosilence the horn, press any control panel pushbutton once. The Alarm indicator maybe illuminated along with other indicators.Lit Flashing There is a new UPS alarm condition. The indicator flashes until acknowledged bypressing anywhere on the control panel once.7.3.2 Using the Touch ScreenThe touch screen control panel provides an operator interface with the UPS system.Figure 7‐3 identifies the display areas discussed in the following sections.Touching anywhere on the screen brings up the Sign In Request pop-up. Touch the Xin the upper right corner of the pop-up, then touch the padlock symbol in the upperright corner to obtain the password request pop-up (see Figure 7‐4).ABFigure 7‐3.
