Remove the unit from service as described in “Removalfrom service” on page 11.WARNINGHazardous Voltage When troubleshooting energizedequipment, protective gear must be worn to avoidpersonal contact with energized parts Failure tocomply can cause serious injury or death VR-T213 02. Conduct this test with the regulator located in themaintenance shop or other suitable location.WARNINGHazardous Voltage The regulator tank must besolidly earth grounded Failure to comply cancause severe personal injury and equipmentdamage VR-T225 03. Ground the regulator tank.4. Connect a cable sized for the regulator rated currentbetween the Source (S) and the Load (L) bushings.5.
