If you are installing the UPS in an IBMiSeries (0550 or 0551 types) or pSeries (7014 type) rack, continue to the following section,“Rack-Mount Setup.” If you have another type of rack, contact your service representative(see page 49).NOTE For UPS standalone cabinet or tower installations: Continue to “TowerSetup” on page 10 to begin the UPS setup.Rack-Mount SetupThe UPS can be installed in 19-inch racks and needs only 2U of valuablerack space.NOTE Mounting rails are required for each individual cabinet.NOTE The UPS and any optional cabinets MUST be installed at the bottom of the rack.
