The S611 Operation and Protection parameters may beedited when 120 Vac control power is applied to 120 Vacsupply (TB1). Mains power is not required to edit andsave Operation and/or Protection parameters.2. If any 120 Vac power source other than the normal systemcontrol power source is used to power the control circuit toedit parameters, connections must be made in compliancewith all local, state, and national electrical codes.3. To setup the S611 Operating parameters (Operationmode), perform the following steps:a. Enter motor FLA.b. Enter motor rated voltage.c. Select start method if required (default = voltageramp, or pump start).d. Enter Start time from table on Page 7 (default =20 seconds).e. Enter initial torque from table on Page 7 (default =45%).f. Enter Stop time, Kick Start time, and Kick Starttorque if desired (default = 0).4. Application NotesAdjust Initial Torque for smooth start, motor rotationshould begin within 2 seconds.If Stall Faults occur at the end of the ramp time, increaseInitial Torque, Kick Start Torque and Time and/or SoftStart Time to achieve bypass before the Soft Start timeelapses. Verify that the motor is not overloaded.After suitable performance has been achieved with eithermethod, determine the starting time to bypass and setSoft Start Time at 1.25 times this time. For example, if ittakes 10 seconds to accelerate the motor and go intobypass, set the Soft Start Time for 12.5 seconds.5. In the Protection Mode, set the Protection parametersto the desired values. Refer to table on Page 7.6.
