Remove the outer twoscrews and loosen the inner pair. Fit the splashback overthe inner screws and then refit the two outer screws:View from the rear of the cookerElectrical ConnectionThis appliance must be installed by a qualifiedelectrician to comply with the relevant regulations (inparticular AS/NZS 60335.2.6:2002), and also the localelectricity supply company requirements.Ensure that the mains characteristics (voltage, nominal,power, etc.) match the ratings indicated on the data plateaffixed to the cooker.The cooker is preset for a single-phase earthed electricalconnection. It is essential to install a multi-pole circuitbreaker that completely disconnects the appliance fromthe mains, with a minimum contact break distance of3mm.WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHEDThe appliance must be connected to an efficient earthingcircuit. If the electricity network is not equipped with anearth connection, then it must be installed separately incompliance with local regulations.Earthing is a safety measure required by law, andmust be performed with particular care by a qualifiedtechnician, who must also check that the electricitysupply characteristics are correct.The cable size used should be suitable for the applianceload and in accordance with local regulations. Please notethat the maximum cable sizes are 6mm2 for the screwterminals.Access to the mains terminal is gained by removing theelectrical terminal cover box on the back panel. Connectthe mains cable to the correct terminals for your electricalsupply type.You may need to move the links to suit your connectiontype. Check that the links are correctly fitted and that theterminal screws are tight. Secure the mains cable usingthe cable clamp.
