29INSTALLATIONCheck the appliance is electrically safe and gas sound when you have ffinished.ArtNo.070-0014 - Stability bracket - Wall fittingCookerStability bracketFloor3 mm minTypical floor mountingCookerOuter stabilitybracketFloorWall3 mm minTypical wall mountingFitting the Stability Bracket or ChainUnless otherwise stated, a cooker using a flexible gasconnector must be secured with a suitable stability device.Suitable stability devices are shown in Fig.7-8, Fig.7-9 andFig.7-10.If you are using a stability chain (Fig.7-8) then the chainshould be kept as short as is practicable and fixed firmly tothe rear of the cooker.If you are using a stability bracket (Fig.7-9) and (Fig.7-10),then adjust the bracket to give the smallest practicableclearance between the bracket and the engagement slot inthe rear of the cooker.Fit the bracket so that it engages as far as possible over thechassis of the cooker.Repositioning the Cooker FollowingConnectionIf you need to move the cooker once it has been connectedthen you need to unplug it and, having gripped under thefascia panel and lifted the front of the cooker slightly(Fig.7-6); you need to check behind the cooker to make surethat the gas hose is not caught.As you progress, make sure that both the electricity cable andgas hose always have sufficient slack to allow the cooker tomove.With a stability chain fitted, release it as you ease the cooker out.Do not forget to refit it when you replace the cooker.When you replace the cooker, again check behind to makesure that the electricity cable and gas hose are not caught ortrapped.Conversion to Another GasIf the appliance is to be converted to another gas dothe conversion at this point. See the instructions in theconversion kit.LevellingYou are recommended to use a spirit level on a shelf in one ofthe ovens to check for level.Place the cooker in its intended position taking care not totwist it within the gap between the kitchen units as damagemay occur to the cooker or the units.The front feet and rear rollers can be adjusted to level thecooker.To adjust the height of the rear of the cooker use a 13 mmspanner or socket wrench to turn the adjusting nuts at thefront bottom corners of the cooker.To set the front, turn the feet bases to raise or lower.Fig.7-9Fig.7-10RestrainingchainFig.7-8
