Fit the front tabs into slots in front frame.FingerslotThe oven bottom has a porcelain enamel finish.To make cleaning easier, protect the oven bottomfrom excessive spillovers. This is particularlyimportant when baking a fruit pie or other foods withā~ tic id content. Hot fruit fillings or foods that are.ic in content such as milk, tomato or sauerkrautand sauces with vinegar or lemon juice, may causepitting and damage to the porcelain enamel surface,To protect the oven bottom surface, place apiece of aluminum foil slightly larger than the bakingdish on the shelf below to catch any boilovers. Itshould not completely cover the shelf as this wouldcause uneven heat in the oven. Aluminum foil shouldnot be placed on the oven bottom.If a spillover does occur on the oven bottom,allow the oven to cool first. Remove the oven bottomfor easier cleanup and to prevent damage to thecontinuous cleaning oven coating.Frequent wipings with mild soap and water(particularly after cooking meat) will prolong thetime between major cleanings. Rinse thoroughly. Soapleft on the oven bottom can cause stains.For heavy soil, use a mild abrasive cleaner andfollow label instructions, using a thin layer of cleaner.Use of rubber gloves is recommended. Wipe or rublightly on stubborn spots. A commercial oven cleanermay also be used, following package directions.Painted SurfacesPainted surfaces include the control panel and drawerfront.
