For bestresults, use a brush speciallydesigned for this purpose. It isavailable at most appliance parts stores. This easycleaning operation should be done at least once a year.Care should be taken in moving your refrigeratoraway from the wall. All types of floor coverings canbe damaged, particularly cushioned coverings andthose with embossed surfaces. Pull the refrigeratorstraight out and return it to position by pushing itstraight in. Moving your refrigerator in a sidedirection may result in damage to your floor coveringor refrigerator.When pushing the refrigerator back, make sure youdon’t roll over the power cord or icemaker supply line(on some models).Clean the condenser coilsat least once a year.Storage Drawer and Drawer Cover RemovalDrawers at the bottom of the fresh food compartmentwill stop before coming all the way out of therefrigerator, to help prevent contents from spillingonto the floor. These drawers can be removed easilyby lifting the sides up slightly while pulling thedrawers past the ‘‘stop’’ location.To remove the drawers and their covers when thefresh food compartment door cannot be opened fully,follow the procedure that applies to your model.Two Drawers (on some models)1. Remove the drawerfarthest from the door.2. Remove the otherdrawer.On models with abottom door shelf thatblocks the other drawer,slide the other drawertoward the middle andremove it.3. Remove the glasscover. Reach in, pushthe front of the glasscover up and, at thesame time, pull itforward as far as itwill come. Tilt it andtake it out.4. Remove the drawerframe. (Alwaysremove the glasscover before you takeout the drawer frame.)Lift the frame offthe supports at eachside and back, pullit forward, tilt it andtake it out.To replace:1. Lower the frameuntil it rests on thesupports at each sideand back.2. Replace the drawers.If you removed thedrawer slide, replace itwith the sloped end atthe front.a. Slide one side of thedrawer onto the drawer slide.b. Move the slide and drawer all the way to thehinge side until the other side of the drawer restson the frame.c.
