Select CUBED, CRUSHED or WATER.Press the glass gently against the top of thedispenser cradle.The spill shelf is not self-draining. To reducewater spotting, the shelf and its grille should becleaned regularly.If no water is dispensed when the refrigerator isfirst installed, there may be air in the water linesystem. Press the dispenser arm for at least twominutes to remove trapped air from the waterline and to fill the water system. To flush outimpurities in the water line, throw away the firstsix glassfuls of water.CAUTION Never put fingers or any otherobjects into the ice crusher discharge opening.Locking the DispenserPress the LOCK or LOCK CONTROLS pad for 3seconds to lock the dispenser and control panel.To unlock, press and hold the pad again for 3seconds.Dispenser LightThe LIGHT pad turns the light in the dispenseron and off. The light also comes on when thedispenser cradle is pressed. For models with abulb, if the light burns out, it should be replacedwith a 6 watt 12V maximum bulb. For LEDmodels contact Factory Service.Door AlarmUse Door Alarm to sound if either door is openfor more than 3 minutes. The alarm will stoponce the door is closed. For LCD models, a popupscreen will appear. The alarm can be silenced bytouching the LCD screen.Touch LED Dispenser Control:Press the SET FEATURES pad once and DOORALARM will blink. Press ON/OFF and the dooralarm will be set and the icon will turn solid. PressON/OFF again to turn the alarm off.Door Alarm (on Tactile LED Dispenser Controlmodel)To set the alarm, press this pad until the indicatorlight comes on. This alarm will sound if eitherdoor is open for more than 3 minutes. The lightgoes out and the beeping stops when you closethe door.About the ice and water dispenser. (on some models)To Use the DispenserSpill ShelfQuick IceWhen you need to speed up ice production, use theQuick Ice feature. While this feature is turned on,the freezer fan runs continuously for 48 hours, oruntil the feature is turned OFF. During this period, iceproduction will increase up to 40%. Models with theintegrated ice feature system require at FIRST USE atleast half an 8 oz. glass of ice to be dispensed every 6to 12 hours. This will help the ice maker fill the bucketproperly so that dispensing is better.How to UseTouch LED Dispenser Control:Press the SET FEATURES pad twice and QUICK ICEwill blink. Press ON/OFF to turn the feature on, thenagain to turn it off.Quick Ice (on Tactile LED Dispenser Controlmodel)When you need ice in a hurry, press this padto speed up ice production. This will increaseice production for the following 48 hours oruntil you press the pad again.16
