To Use the Warming DrawerPush and turn the control knob to anydesired setting.The warming drawer will keep hot, cookedfoods at serving temperature. Always start withhot food.Touch the WARMING DRAWER pad. “WARMERON” and “1” are lit on the display and “Set”begins to blink. On the number pads, touch 1for Low, 2 for Medium or 3 for High. The display“1” changes corresponding to the number padselected. The warming drawer startsautomatically after you touch 1, 2 or 3.“WARMER ON” and the number remain lit. “Set”stops blinking. On some models press START.On some models – toggle between settings bytouching the WARMING DRAWER pad.To cancel, touch the WARMING DRAWER pad.NOTE: Touching the CLEAR/OFF pad does notturn off the warming drawer.WARMING DRAWERWhen Using the Warming DrawerThe warming drawer will keep hot, cookedfoods warm. Always start with hot food. Do notuse to heat cold food other than crispingcrackers, chips or dry cereal.Do not line the warming drawer or panwith aluminum foil. Foil is an excellent heatinsulator and will trap heat beneath it. Thiswill upset the performance of the drawerand could damage the interior finish.Allow approximately 25 minutes for thewarming drawer to preheat.■ Do not put liquid or water in the warmingdrawer.■ All foods placed in the warming drawershould be covered with a lid or aluminum foil.When warming pastries or breads, the covershould be vented to allow moisture toescape.■ Food should be kept hot in its cookingcontainer or transferred to a heat-safeserving dish.NOTE: Plastic containers or plastic wrap willmelt if in direct contact with the drawer, pan or ahot utensil.
